The original release was a nice clean Honeysuckle/Linden scent. The revised version now combines the intricate essence of Honeysuckle, Linden, and Tropical notes, creating an exquisite fragrance.

Seems TRC got a damaged shipment so they can't make any samples of the latest bundle.

I'm not sure what you mean. Jason and I have exchanged several messages in the past 24 hours. He didn't report any damage issues!

I'm not really an Iris fan as I didn't care for Dior Homme intense. I wonder if this iris soap is different. I might blind buy if it starts to sell out quickly.

When the Maxima soaps were released in November, one of my top choices was Iris. However, I got my release time confused. By the time I logged into Mo's web site two hours later, the Iris was already sold out. Yeah, you heard me right....two hours.

Earlier this week, several Maxima soaps were listed on The Razor Company website, including Iris, but as expected, Iris and a few others have already sold out. If you do see Iris in stock anywhere, place your order IMMEDIATELY as it won't be around for long. 

The scent notes in Dior Homme Intense are: Lavender; Iris, Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and Pear; base notes are Virginia Cedar and Vetiver. The scent notes in Aion Skincare Iris are: Iris, Orris, Woody notes. Orris is a very rare, expensive ingredient produced by grinding up the rhizomes of the Iris plant, thus it complements Iris well. If you are able to purchase Iris and do not like the scent, you should have no difficulty selling it. The scent is in high demand.

I'm not really an Iris fan as I didn't care for Dior Homme intense. I wonder if this iris soap is different. I might blind buy if it starts to sell out quickly.

I posted a shave with Aion Skincare Iris and Dior Homme Intense about a month ago.  I made no secret of how much I enjoyed the soap's scent and performance, as well as the scent interaction between the soap and perfume.  So it won't be a surprise that, FWIW, I share RayClem' s point of view and find his post encouraging.  That said, not much pleases everyone, so anomaly1985' s views are no surprise either, at least not to me.

OTOH as I write this, five different Aion Skincare titles are still in stock at The Razor Company, including Trésor (in which both anomaly1985 and myself have expressed interest).  And IMO, trying to judge how quickly anything will sell out is a very risky business.  Just sayin'.

I do like Dior Homme intense and parfum, not my favorites though I tend to save it for more formal occasions.  I picked up purple soap which is the same or very similar to Maxima Iris almost a year ago.  It is so good I made sure to get my hands on a tub of Iris as well, it works well with Dior Homme but its not the same.  Its more of a creamy Iris if that makes any sense without any trace of the purse lipstick vibe.  It smells like an expensive spa soap.

I recently had to do a lot of traveling for work and burned through 3/4 of my mallard tub cause its all I brought.  So I really hope to see it released more regularly and not change much.  I know Mo likes to be creative but this scent I think could be a staple for him.
