I got my tracking number around 9:00 am PDT today (Sunday). Of course, being Sunday, the packages won't go to the post office until tomorrow. Hopefully, lots of other orders will be joining mine in the trip to the post office.

My soap(Coconut Fig) expected today & will be going directly into my fridge since temps close to 100.
Plan on using for tomorrow’s shave.

  Don't leave the soap in the fridge for very long. The stearic acid might precipitate out.

I would leave the jar at room/ambient temp for a few hours before using it. Don't think it's necessary to chill the product. It does get warm in mail trucks and wherever storage locations they're kept in transit but for the majority of locations it's not the devil's taint type of heat that will destroy your soap. Maybe in the south west (Az for instance) things are bit more dicey.

Preshipment only means that the lable for your package was printed. It still can be a few days before the package makes its way to the post office.
I got my preshipment notice last Sunday. According to the tracking info, it has arrived at my local post office and should be delivered later today (Friday).

I would love to see what those of you who have received packages, or will receive them soon, think about your new acquisitions. What do you think of the scents, both off the puck and after lathering? What do you think about the performance? How does the soap performance compare to other Grooming Dept/Aion Skincare formulations such as Maxima and last year's Mallard. Mo indicates that Mallard 2024 should be better than Mallard 2023 and competitive with Maxima. Is he correct?

For those of you who have not yet ordered Mallard, there are still five of the ten scents available on the Grooming Dept web site. For those scents that are sold out, it is my understanding that addition soaps will be sent to a few vendors in the weeks to come.
