Aftershave To Pair With Mike's Lily of the Valley Shaving Soap

I preordered and just received shipping notice for Mike's Lily of the Valley shaving soap. I would appreciate advice as to what aftershave to pair this soap. Thank you.

Good question John. I am interested in this too as I also have Mike's LOTV on the way.

johnz3333 , I'm thinking certain floral scents will be good but I'm also thinking some fougere/wood type scents will work as well. I have Mystic Water LofV and I'm assuming Mike's will be close. Also, I was able to get all of the Chatillon Lux samples last November during the Black Friday sale....so don't be surprised the majority of my suggestions are CL

1. CL Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli
2. CL Fourth & Pine
3. CL Vide Poche - I really think this one is going to be great with it, even better than YRP which I think would be the most likely choice
4. CL Bon Vivant
5. CL Rose Santal...this one is questionable
6. CL Catalan's Prairie
7. CL Colonia Balsamica - might be a stretch but it's a very versatile scent...and one of my favorites
8. CL Blackberry Blossom Bay - because it just goes well with almost everything!
9. CL Taum Sauk - provides a nice "nature" touch to the floral scent
10. Tabac
11. Wholly Kaw - Fern Concerto - see notes on Taum Sauk

Surprisingly, I thought any floral scent would be a good choice. But comparing the soap with two lavender scents (Fine & CL) and with CL Unconditional Surrender, I just didn't think they paired well at all, but that's just my opinion. Hope this helps
