I know nothing about SE and would like to give it a go. I look forward to reading the reviews from the SE crowd to see if this razor will become my first SE.

Same here. I don't have enough experience with SE razors to evaluate it properly. The only reasonable approach I can think of is to compare it with the OneBlade.

105 grams sounds really good.

Is the handle thin compared to others?
Hard to get a good idea of what it is without something beside it to give a little perspective.

Stan turned it around fairly quickly after first posting about it. Looking forward to hearing the reviews!

According to Stan eventually it will be offered as a stand alone.

NeroXerxes-That must have been pretty cool to meet Stan!

Iv e-mailed him a few times and he's always been great at replying.

I like the guarantee given with his razors as well.

Thanks for the info slantman! Hopefully it's soon - I simply don't need another handle, and I'd rather use my Colossus anyway.

It was cool D_SM! He attempted to explain to me some of the highly detailed design decisions on the SE, and while I had no clue what he was talking about, it was clear that he has an incredible mind for detail.

Fun fact: Stan claims that he didn't do market research by using the Mongoose and other competitors first, and wanted instead to design the ATT SE without reference to other SE models.

I really like the handle design might need to add this one to the list

"Another one that takes the Artist Club blades. Why won't somebody make a modern SE that uses GEM blades?? For the life of me I can't figure it out."

No need when there are plenty of used ancient GEM razors in perfect condition at 10% of the cost.
And they give a truly excellent shave with those GEM blades.
