Hey folks....! Tyler here, from Central Florida!

I began my wet shaving journey here only but maybe a month and a half ago and I'm already deep in it! I'm a collector at heart so as soon as I realized all the potential in the various things I could grow a collection of I was even moreso on board.

This all started when I decided to ditch the electric razor stubble I would always have going on and grow out a nice twist-end mustache (since I was too afraid to shave due to my sensitive skin and occasional acne). I had attempted d/e shaving with a Gillette King C razor I had picked up at my local Target, but didn't have the best experience due to lack of information and not researching enough prior. I knew it was still something I wanted to do so I spend lots of time in Facebook groups and watching Youtube videos learning techniques and any tips that might help me out.
Not long after, I had picked up a Rockwell 6C since I found many had deemed it a great beginner razor and also a good razor in general. I also ordered a number of shave soap samples from Barrister & Mann, a captain's choice shave bowl, and some various blades. While all this was coming in the mail I was constantly seeing everyones SOTD posts in the Facebook groups I had joined and fell in love with the Chisel & Hound brushes. I was lucky enough to get my very first brush from him during the Christmas drop and was blown away when it had arrived.
With all my new accoutrements and knowledge I had my first proper shave with all the right equipment and this time it wasn't bad! I did have some razor burn and a little irritation but I knew that was a possibility and my technique would improve over time.
Fast forward to today, I now have 4 razors; my King C Gillette, Rockwell 6C, Blackland Era, and Aylsworth Kopperkant. I'm a big fan of the Era and it shaves quite smooth and seems to do well for my sensitive skin with the level 2 SB plate. Glad I was able to get one before they disappeared...! The Kopperkant is also a beauty and I love the brass and nice machining. Its quite the nice shaver itself and I thoroughly enjoy using it. I've definitely found my favorite soap already; Barrister & Mann Atomic Holiday. It's got the most amazing fruity inviting scent that I just can't get over. I purchased dozens of samples but none have ever come close to beating it.
I'm constantly looking at razors, soaps, and what to buy next..! It's become quite the addiction all too fast  Tongue
