I purchased this brush in 2012 from a vendor on Etsy. I wasn't so fond of the knot b/c the handle was amazing. It resembles the Semogue 1550. Although the name doesn't say Semogue, it was made by them. But finally after 2 1/2 years I was able to achieve something that I thought was impossible. It was re-knotting this beauty of a SB with a finest badger knot by Sr. Gomes in Portugal. This brush is about 30 years old and one of my best looking brushes in my den. Thanks to Bruno and Sr Gomes keeping its originality. I mailed the brush straight to Semogue in November 2015 and received this past Saturday. The new batch of finest badger is very nice and soft. The knot size is about 22 mm and loft is around 52-53 mm when comparing to my other Semogues. Well I just wanted to share this with you guys and thanks for taking the time to read this. Guys have a great day!
