I don't use the two that I have often, but I hope they continue and that the business continues to do well.

That’s sad to hear. I kind of wish he had kept the details to himself and kept the business viable for the benefit of his family. I wish them all the best.

Your judgment gets clouded in your weak moments. Wish everyone in the family good luck.

That family has had some difficult times in recent years. Hopefully they will find a path through this and support each other through the process.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I cannot imagine what has left Darren and his family so crushed and I can only hope that all of them find a way to rebuild their lives and move on. As much as we would like to think that life comes with the ideal user manual, it simply does not. In the end, we have to make up our own using common sense, experience, and the insight from a life lived so far.

I hope whatever sinful thing he did was worth it, and sincerely wish him all the best going forward.. Hey, he is only human, after all.

I really was hoping to try his shaving soaps someday, and hope he restarts production someday. My bad for waiting on the purchase.

To those wondering why he shared the details, he didn't. It looks like he was trying to address all the "What happened to Soap Commander?" inquiries that would have been made if he simply went dark. Thoughtful fellow, even if he did slip up.

I always found him too sanctimonious for my taste. I did feel badly for the the tradegy that befell his son. No one deserves that. Never a fan of his product or the holier than thou attitude.

He said the business will remain open, but he will no longer be involved. It looks like you can order whatever you want on the website, or did I miss something? Anyway, SC products are top notch and worth trying. I use the aftershave balms regularly and have owned a couple soaps as well. Great products!
