I don't think I was around for the Stirling soap story. If I was, I never heard it. Can you elaborate?

The Stirling story is pretty well buried since it was years ago, but here's a quick reference to it on Reddit:

wait, Im confused...did you mean they accused you of selling a used razor as new?
Yes. I had 2 of the same razors. One was brand new up for sale in BST. The other I kept and was used in a SOTD.

I was also banned when a member decided to make a bst post of mine his personal conquest to, incorrectly, state that I was charging more than I “should have”.

All I did was not agree with the moderator that pm’d me about it. Apparently I was so threatening they even banned my IP address

This is a fun place, everyone here (mostly) has an interest in shaving swag such as:  Razors, blades, brushes, soaps, croaps, creams, splash and balms. I look forward to hearing and seeing all the cool new merchandise.  Mostly I like interacting with all of you

Many of you are friends or have been socially acquainted here and on other threads….for many many years.  There will always be a clash of opinion even amongst friends AND family

Those are the facts

When an active participating member here or at any other shaving forum gives you a warning of a Merchant of Chaos, it’s your responsibility to check that out.  A Merchant of Chaos has a brand; it’s Confusion and the Division of People. Without an audience there’s no energy to feed

Amidst confusion, original subject matter gets derailed and more confusion surfaces causing tensions. There’s a difference between disappointment and anger.  The Merchant cannot distinguish that and draws as many people into this confusion as possible. People will say things to each other in this confusion they may not necessarily mean or the interpretation isn’t clear. Unfortunately it will be too little too late and suspensions or possible banning of members will be forthcoming

mrdoug, I have Stirling’s Gin & Tonic Shave Soap and love it.  Even with all of my many soaps I am already on my second tub.  While scent is, of course, subjective, I honestly believe that even if it’s not a favorite for you you might enjoy it as a change of pace.

I did not know about the back story of Gin & Tonic but, if true, that is just another reason to love it. Big Grin

Agreed. Own both Texas on Fire and Gin and Tonic. Both awesome. Seems you piss off a soldier and he works even harder.

Amateurs  Big Grin I've been banned from B&B twice for supporting a forum started by some that left B&B. It happened when the new forum gave me the custom title " TSC's Number 1 Recruiter" After supporting said forum for 2 years and 30,000 posts, I learned they were behind the scenes no different than B&B. They twice accidentally gave me owner privileges and I had access to the owners lounge and their discussions of vendors and members.(YES, I have the copy and pasted proof) I left a post in their lounge telling them off, to lock the door behind themselves and be more careful running their software  Then the 3 owners message me warning all I saw was confidential and what did I want. I said nothing from them. Just leave me alone to interact with who I chose to. They chose to ban me weeks after my father died so everyone would think I left due to mourning my loss.  Real Class acts........
