Thanks to Billy's good work I finally got back to the Rolls. Good shave until I got to my chin where going XTG I couldn't seem to get it right. Takes some practice I guess. For the head shave I used the new Apollo. At about 20g lighter than my version 2 It feels quite different, but with a new Supermax Platinum served up a nice BBS in two passes +. Sometimes something magical happens when lathering like today - SMN contributed to that and is awesome as is this brush - warm badger lather on a cool autumn day . . . and the weeks badgering disappears

When you go XTG on the chin only a relatively small part of the blade is touching you.
It takes less pressure to dig in than would the full length of the blade.

DO NOT USE ANY PRESSURE.
Or go from top to bottom or bottom to top. But still try to keep light pressure.

Beautiful, pure lavender scent from the soap and its inspiration (Caldey Island Lavender EdT). Looking forward to the release of the Reserve Lavender splash. Frugal shaves makes the really cool "razor blade" drawer, it has 4 compartments and it's kinda like a filing cabinet.
