Last nights head shave. This was the first try with this brush and I decided it shall be tried with a head shave vs a face shave trial is based on it being a bullish shape. I find that these shape knots can do well with circular motions but with this brush I think it will be better if I continue to practice lathering deeper in the knot. It seems to aerate the lather more noticeably. Stella Alpina wasn't the best choice I could've shaved with but it still was very serviceable so not a total regret.



I think the synthetic will be getting used in place of my gel tip badger if I choose to daily shave. The other badgers I would prefer to use with multiple days growth (3-5 day growth is optimal). Anyways, the Plisson used as part of my shave means I don't over exfoliate the face and can focus on choosing the most proactive soap to protect the skin. These days, the MJ-90 (Razorock) is getting a Kai, Voskhod, or like today a Israeli Crystal Super Platinum. They seem to pair nicely and do a 3 pass shave well on the skin. Probably get another similar shave in tomorrow with gear like this. The Tundra Artica pair nicely in performance and feel feel. Luckily the scent is nice but the treatment to my skins look and feel is pleasing. Anti Aging Serum will get frequent use in the next few days with the US artisan soaps.

I wasn't keen on the floral attached to this scent at first but now I just get sweet chocolate limes. Definitely a keeper.

Spicy Menthol Monday
Superb shave today in two passes. I decided to try my technique of WTG-ATG with a feather blade and the results were superb. No irritation or weepers, just a very close and comfortable shave. The boar made optimal lather from Tabac, and Spice Grenade finished things off great - a little goes a long way and it provides a welcome cool.
