5/8 J.R. Torrey

Hello, Gents, I am giddy to receive my 5/8 Torrey razor. Anyone have experience with one of these? If so, how does the bad boy shave?

Shaved with one yesterday. Good steel and holds a good edge.

I am trying to SR shave 1 or 2 times a week during Covid, just to get my touch back after a hiatus with modern SEs and DEs. Because it was one of my earliest buys, I’d used it a lot. So, it was like visiting with an old friend — Easy and familiar.

Good steel and holds a good edge.

Torrey's are excellent razors. I'm sure you'll like it (once it has been honed properly). They're as good as any razor out there, in my opinion. Good luck!
