Been sick for the last week and a half, so I haven't been shaving much. Which means not much in the way of SOTD pics either. Feeling much better now. On to it!

Second shave with the Rockwell 6S. This time I used a #4 with the Gillette Rubie blade. Much better than the #3 plate. I plan to work on 5 & 6 in the next couple of shaves. Used my Simpson knotted/Whipped dog brush for the second time this week. I had missed it.

Also first use of Crowne & Crane. I need to find the dialed in spot for water.

And a side note: I always forget how much menthol Adagio splash has until I use it each time!

Razorock Slab (Rockwell handle), Tian Li with one shim. Not as comfortable as say the Rockwell or V3A) but quite efficient, head shave easy BBS in two.[Image: 2e7d5957e780ac06efa3ffcae9bd5d41.jpg]

Rockwell, Slab, V3A. The other razors support the blade closer to its edge.

Hello, old friend
I hadn't used Stirling soap in a few years, this was my first try of their mutton tallow lanolin formula, and I gotta say it measures up well with other top artisans. It is also a better value than most, since the tub is nearly 6oz.
I also recently traded for CL YRP and I really like the scent - I wasn't sure what yuzu is, but it does smell good and combined nicely with the other scents. Now I smell warm rose more, and the patchouli certainly does not dominate.

I really enjoyed this shave. Dr. Jon's 13 is a blend of jasmine, oud and musk. Very smooth!

semperfi 45,

May I respectfully disagree with you.

A wind strong enough to fill those large, heavy, sails would surely have no problem blowing the puny pennants in the same direction it is blowing the sails and, coincidently moving that huge wooden vessel.
