Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Scots Pine Sheep
Soap: Catie’s Bubbles Connecticut Shade
Razor: Gillette NEW Short Comb
Blade: Vintage Schick Plus Platinum (Shave #12)
Brush: Turtleship Silvertip-24mmx55mm
Aftershave: Country Club Southern Oud

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Catie’s Bubbles Connecticut Shade today. 20 seconds to load the Turtleship Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Schick Plus Platinum still in the Gillette NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Country Club Southern Oud aftershave.

Last Day of Austere August:

* CFG GTB
* Dogclaration Seascape
* '77 Gillette Super Adjustable
* GSB (28)
* CFG GTB Splash

It's the last day of Austere August and I shaved 28 out of 31 days. I think it took me about 2-1/2 weeks to dial in my lather but once I did it was amazing. This has been a fun exercise and since it's already in my bowl I'm going to use this soap until it's gone. This brush has been amazing as well. It makes a beautiful lather and feels great on the skin. The razor had been great but I found I need to pay attention to the blade alignment. It feels like one side was a little more mild than the other. Having said that it may have been the blade itself.

It's been fun, but I think I'll be making a change tomorrow.[Image: 948ec65242ed49d76396ef619c681d2f.jpg]

EJ DE87 razor
Gillette Silver Blue blade
Shave Revolution Metaloid synthetic brush
TSD Iced Lemon Grass SS
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
TSD 2X Mentholated Lemon Grass A/S

Have used the EJ head on the original handle and the Scotch & Stowe handle. Both work great, nice shave with either. But I think I prefer this head on the Scotch & Stowe handle. Just a tad more effective while remaining smooth and I like the feel of the handle better. At any rate, another great shave and I'm ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks.

I started this morning with the Saiver, single blade this time --with its included shim -- and blood soon flowed from a number of locations. I said to myself, that ain't right (I'm quick). $.40 Gillette Click to the rescue. Two pass plus BBS all around. Tian Li.[Image: eb443f1fe1780251c47b37da14b9fa03.jpg]
