I'm getting such good shaves with the Tian Li blades... Either my technique has taken a huge leap forward or these blades have some magic qualities. I was going to sell the PAA Bakelite slant because I couldn't get a satisfactory head shave from it. BBS today. Go figure.

Shave of the Night, 27 August 2017
"Captain's Choice Night 2" (another great shave!)
- Shaving Cream: Lime, by Captain's Choice
- Aftershave: Bay Rum, by Captain's Choice
- Lather bowl: Rawhide by Captain's Choice
- Razor: Merkur 38c
- Brush: The Colonel by Simpson Brushes
- Razor/brush stand: Colonel Conk
I was looking forward to this shave all day. It did not disappoint. Both the Lime and the Bay Rum smelled amazing. They complement each other nicely! The shaving cream lathered with little work. The aftershave went on nicely, felt fantastic. Overall a definite A+ once again!
