Interested in what's involved in the modification. Just the ends cut down or more involved? Very cool !

Thanks! Length I trim to the same length of the proprietary blade then add the spline off a GEM blade. I then use a small piece of clear aquarium tube at the base of the spine to help make the wedge shape of the proprietary blade. Not a hard as it sounds once you do it and works great!

Today I did a quick evening shave with Proraso Red cream, dried into a tub. From my experience, this works better than the soap they sell (and with less residue). I used my Trotter 'Lore' brush, with the 26mm 2BED Knot. As always, The Overlander was the razor of choice. The Nacet stayed in for a second (and final) run. Finished with my usual Stirling Glacial Post Shave Balm. All in all, a wonderful shave.
