2023 DFR (Damn Fine Restraint)

I’m out. I just ordered a bottle of ethos skin food in bay rum from Shave Supply. Everything else was sold out. I’ve been waiting on Top of The Chain to put it up. Both Frank and Carmine said way back last fall that TOTC would be getting the full bay rum lineup but so far nothing. Trying to save money on shipping may have cost me. This skin food might be all I get and me with that medical need for bay rum. (Seriously, I have a doctors note). Now that I’m out I can go crazy. I’ll post pictures of everything here. 

This thread has really caused me to exercise restraint in my purchases. I've been eyeing that Enders Speed razor in the BST, but have decided that I cannot break my abstinence vow for it. The longer it sits there, the harder it gets.

But, Dave in KY started this thread, so I'm sure he approves of me not buying that razor. Maybe trades are not a violation of the principles of this thread.

Trades are fine if in the restraint but we in the restraint have too much stuff usually and finding something a person wants can be a challenge. I guess we'll see who can hold out longer

Ah ha, the self-proclaimed Restraint Officer has broken restraint! But if you show us the doctor's note, maybe the group will vote to allow you to stay! Or not.

Well, I'm still in.  Not because i have any self-control.  No, that's not the reason at all.  It's because I'm a complete idiot for not marking my calendar to remind myself of the Sandalo Artistico release!!!  I feel like i've been waiting a year and a half for that one only to have life & work get in the way right when it finally comes out.  Oh well, at least I'm still in the running for the "No Purchase in January 2023" reward....there is a prize, right????

That’s how it goes. You either go somewhere with no cell service for like 10 minutes or just doze off and BAM! Product released and sold out. Yup. There is a prize, a badge actually and you have to make it yourself. Badges?! We don’t need no stinkin badges!
