What is the handle length of the Ti?

Got a couple longer ends made for my hybrid and all titanium model. These are both Titanium. Might have one more made that has no knurling or lines on the end piece. Scott at Marley Machine Works in Victoria, Canada did these same ends for me for my HLS Taiga and Elbrus razors to make the razor handles longer. He is shipping these to me Monday. Looking forward to getting these and putting them to use.

Rocnel Sailor Ti MC
WK Chaos Set
Elite/TnS 32mm
GD Preshave
Green Astra

Had to be 10-12 days growth.  My beard was to the point itching.  Once it itches, I just have to shave.  This was my introduction to WK and oh boy did I pick a winner!  The scent is all over the place, as the name suggests. I love it and have ordered backup.  Opened up one full revolution, the Ti obliterated the growth on the first pass.  No pressure and the Astra was buttery smooth.  Ti makes the Sailor much more agile.  While I would prefer more handle length, I think it's balanced perfectly like it is.  The Ti is an excellent tool...well built, handsome to look at, and with performance that has no rival on my face.

Thank you. The handle was done by Elite Razors @Bob Quinn and knotted by Milton at Turn n Shave. Originally the handle was all wood. The ferrule split and Milton replaced it with bronze. A happy accident Smile

My uninformed theory has always been that the extra mass has something to do with the smoothness of the Sailor.  To those who have the Ti, am I wrong?  I really enjoy the 2022, all 3 kilos of it    Big Grin     Is there any reason to get a Ti?   Do you lose anything with the lower mass?

I think mass helps with cutting for sure. The Ti is still around 82 grams. About as heavy as a WR1 on a Darwin. The reduction in weight on the Ti Sailor makes it more maneuverable for sure and has a slightly different face feel. Other than weight, I believe the Ti performs just like a SS model. If you have no issue with the 2022, I'd run it and not look back.
