Thanks friend. This one is pretty special. It all worked out in the end. Looking at them all together, I regret not getting the 23MC. And I still need the very first Sailor....it gives me something to chase. Smile

So, I was out of town last week when my new titanium Sailor (SN#2) was delivered. Shaved with it Monday morning for the first time and loved it on setting 5 WTG and setting 4 ATG. Love the weight of this one and the titanium feel tamed a Feather blade nicely. The only thing I have issues with is the short handle which I think I may rectify by having a custom knob done for it by Scott at Marley Machine Works in Canada. He has done a few of these for me for my HLS Taiga and Elbrus razors as well as my Tatara Muramasa. He does an amazing job and it will be made out of titanium if he can do it. Sending him my hybrid Sailor as the knob end on that one is identical to the new MC titanium Sailor. For now, here’s a pic of my Sailor collection starting with the B&R Adjustables and then the progression to the latest titanium Sailor. One small mistake is that I should have put the original Sailor in the slot after the B&R Adjustables.

I feel the handle might be a bit short as well...assumed it was done deliberately for the purpose of balance.
Would love to see how the new custom attachment looks...do post a pic when its done, if possible.

Picked up the 2024 "ordinary" version

Very jealous of the collections on display in here

Having been using a Ti blackbird for a few weeks beforehand the weight difference was stark
But it was a lovely smooth shave at setting 3
Looking forward to getting to know the razor and it's peculiarities over the coming weeks

So the 90gr difference is what you'd call stark? I'd call that almost twice the difference and stark wouldn't be anywhere in the description!!
