Just curious, what features does the "S" series and "H" series include? I only now realised that I wasn't signed up to rocnel's newsletter and assume there must have been mention of them in there.
Not sure how true this is, but it seems the the 2020 sailor was the best shaver of the series? It was the smoothest and most efficient, but also the heaviest, at around 160g+. Then Murat's attempts to innovate has introduced the inevitable kinks and flaws which are to be expected when trying to innovate on such a short time frame.
LOOT you're the only person I'm aware of who has tried/owned the entire rocnel series. Would you consider writing an article, comparing each year to one another? Or, if that's too much could you rate them out of 10 on smoothness and efficiency like so:
2020
Smoothness - x/10
Efficiency - x/10
Any other member comparisons would be appreciated, because it seems that each year is discussed in isolation, but I'm curious to see what the overall progression has been over the years and what direction his razors are heading towards

From the VIP newsletter only sent to me, the H series has the text centered horizontally and the V series is for vertical alignment. Serial number #0 can be reserved for a exorbitant price which may or may not be honored depending on Murats mood on the day.
TLDR: Not even Murat knows the difference.

A lot of these troubles start because we hand over cash directly to him. Once you pony
up, there is no recourse.
Recently, someone sold me a fairly expensive part on Ebay as new...when it arrived, it had
some dents in it. Immediately opened an "item not as described" case against them and
gave them a 24 hour option: either return 50% of the amount by way of refund, or provide
a return label for a 100% refund at your expense (with Ebay rules, in the event of item not
as described, the seller has to foot the entire bill for return shipping). The guy immediately
returned 50% of the amount with an apology.
This is why I don't grudge Paypal their fees....a credit card issuing bank would take ages to sort
out a mess like this.
If Rocnel tried this with PayPal, they would have to take such complaints a lot more seriously.

Ditto for me

Man, you are shaving once a month as a forum owner..
twice, thank you very much!
Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito.
I don't have any data or peer reviewed studies to back this up but I think a
large number of his clientele are not necessarily on forums. Think there might be
quite a few on Insta....plus I hear his main business is making/supplying automotive parts.
When any business scales up and increases output without proper process, it faces quality issues.
Hope he sorts this out.
