Why didn't you do the Western Union online and in person at the grocery store cash transfer we discussed a while back in posts 1004 and 1005 of this thread?

When I sent Murat $690 my WU fee for doing so was under $10.

I'm not being critical, but I'm curious.

Perhaps it's become more difficult to do or impossible or WU has upped their fees.

Happy shaves,

Jim

I was given instructions for payment. I followed instructions. That's all. He wants a wire transfer, no problem. He wants chicken feet and bourbon, who am I to argue? Ha. No fee WU would have been better for me, but maybe not for him? I dunno.

Makes perfect sense.

Not much choice given his instructions.

Just a heads up that Maggard's has its MR5 stand back in stock. It has an inner diameter of 15.35 mm and it fits my 2021 Sailor perfectly. At $15, it's a reasonably-priced solution for storage of my razor.

Murat posted the first picture of the '22 on IG?.  I only question because It looks like a 21 unless I'm missing something.  Looks like these will get sold direct via his website.  The text says preorders in May...but the add to cart button seems to be working.

Living on the edge
wow the difference between a regular 2022 sailor and the MC version is 190 euros!
looks like I got in at the right time.

Good that he has one built. I guess he will release more information about it over the coming weeks. Does it look like parts of the razor are polished? The middle part of the cap is clearly brushed still, but the sides look different to me. Maybe the handle too. Hard to see much from this angle.

Seems nothing is immune from price increases lately but I am clueless about why there is such a big difference between the 2 models.  That is about $211 US.

It seems a bit premature to judge the relative value of the 2022 standard and MC Sailor models when we don’t yet know what the MC offering is.
