Don't know about the app, but their online website worked perfectly the first time and subsequently, no in-person trip required.  At least for me, in the US....

Like Scaramouche I was able to set up WU all online. I paid something like $30 as a fee.

[Image: 6FUwhdY.jpg]For me the 21 and 22 shave nearly identical. Both give great shaves and the only difference is the geometry of the handle. Very happy with both. Great first pass at 5 then touchup at 3.

Just ordered the Sailor 22 with Stand. Was able to use WU app by using Debit Card. Easy Peasy as them youngsters used to say. The wait begins  Party

My 2021 RSMC razor arrived just a few days ago. What a gorgeous razor!

That said, I'm all about the shave. If it doesn't shave me to my satisfaction I don't care how good it looks.

I've only used the razor twice. Once was the second shave of the day just because I had to even though I knew it was stupid, so it hardly counts. The second shave was much better. Playing with the settings, I've used Dot, I, III, IV, and V. All are smooth feeling. None have horrible blade feeling or anything like that. At least a few more shaves are in order before I feel like I've done anything more than gotten my feet wet with the Sailor, but I'm pretty impressed so far.

Impressed with the closeness of the shave. Impressed with the fact I've not damaged my skin or ended up feeling like the shave was "too much" or my skin felt "overdone."

Before shaving with the razor I installed a blade I intended to sacrifice. The idea was to use a credit card to see if the blade exposure on the Dot setting would be negative. I think on Dot there is a negative blade exposure.

My plan today is to see what an entire shave on the Dot setting is like for me. However, for most shaves I plan to vary the setting throughout the shave.

Happy shaves,

Jim

From what Murat told me, Dot is a dead setting....
when theres no blade and it's fully tight the pin is aligned to V

When you load a blade and tighten it fully, the pin is aligned with the Dot

Then Dot then functions as the 0 setting.

Of course if you get a shave out of Dot, then, cool.

The Dot shaves pretty well indeed.

Happy shaves,

Jim
