What's different about the 22 vs the 21? Just the handle length?

For the 2021 and 2022 standard models I think the differences are a longer, slimmer handle on the 2022 and a brass adjustment dial (2021 was steel, matching the rest of the razor). I think that’s about it unless I forgot something. The changes in handle dimensions seem to improve the handling noticeably, and the brass dial gives a nice visual contrast. But I wouldn’t say the 2021 model is in any way obsolete or outdated.

Can someone tell me why I ordered a 2022 when I have a 2021 already? Especially since I promised myself "no more razors"?

He is very early this year. Already sold 2022, announced master collection. I bet he will come with one more razor in 2022. He might call Grandmaster.

I was torn on getting the 22. I inquired about the brass ring getting patina and they said that could occur. It was then sort of hard to justify sending 500 when I have the 21 version where this won’t happen. Anyone have issues with their brass ring and patina?
