Yep!  Big Grin  Unfortunately out of 480 (I use it for lots of stuff), but more on the way.  Almost tempted to try my hand at disassembly, but discretion took over from valor.  The joys of driving a Maserati (or in this case an Onuk Sazan)!

Hey Scaramouche I see you got your medallion out. After getting turned down by a lot of jewelers I ended up sending it to razor emporium for plating. Should be back this week so I’ll send photos once I set it back in

The medallion is duplex stainless steel per Murat. This matters for plating process apparently so keep it in mind.

Well, not on purpose! Tongue There was some remaining residue, but the resin did not appear to have attached well to either the medallion or handle (480 usually adheres pretty well to most metals).  I've let Murat know, because I think it's likely to happen to other users.  It's a pretty tight fit, so I'll be interested to see the results of your plating - SS requires an undercoat of nickel before plating, and the plate adds an additional layer.  Just eyeballing it, I think there should be enough room for both, but will be intrigued by your results.

Well at least one. Wink Easy fix with Loctite but I've let Murat know.

I considered this. I will sand the sides if needed and keep the plating at the face.

That is a little disconcerting.

I'm not sure of how the bottom of the new 2022 Sailors are like, but I suspect it is the same as the standard 2021 edition that was released earlier this year (meaning it has a hole for a stand that has a post).

To each his own, but since we are at the topic of comparing hyper cars to such a razor, I think a Bugatti is more fitting- expensive, heavy, luxurious, and you can open it up wide like no tomorrow Smile

I missed the 1st batch. Yeah some pics would be great. Due to the brass ring, I wonder if there are any changes to the weight/balance. I think you as a current MC owner would have a great reference point as the first ones are more different than the MC.
