Thanks for the quick reply! He only takes a wire? So no protection then? Sounds like there’s nothing to worry about though. Very temptingWink. I also find the Rex stand works pretty good.

He also made a stand for the prototype 2021 which would fit a regular 2021. Don’t know if he is selling those individually though. It has a post to fit the hole on the regular production and prototype 2021.

Last night I pulled out my Original B&R adjustable to compare it to my 2021 Rocnel. I used ETHOS Greenfresh soap and AS along with PolSilver blades. I did a 3 pass shave at 6 WTG, 5 XTG and 4 ATG. Both sides gave me a wonderfully smooth BBS shave that lasted 14 hours before I felt a whisker. The original B&R is 146g and the 21 is 135g on my scale. The head design is different and the B&R comes completely apart. I love both razors but I am thinking the original is as good as the follow ups.

Just curious...has there been any movement on additional MC shipments? I can't wait to for some of you to get these in your hands.

I have been running the Ti R41 for a couple of weeks. It has been really hard to put down. I finally reached for the MC today and was reminded just what a great shaver this one is.

James, please, share your opinion about Ti R41.

I desperately want it))

I haven’t heard about mine yet. I changed my order to the MC mid-August. I’m not going to bother Murat asking for an ETA. I assumed at the start it would be no earlier than end of September and I guess it will likely ship some time in October. It’s nice to see that some are starting to arrive, though.

The only Muhle I ever tried was the 2011 R41 on a bulldog handle. I loved the result but I didn't like the journey. It was tuggy and so blade forward it required more attention than I cared for on most days. I was no fan of the material.

I had to have the Ti R41. I happened up a DFS post from a very gracious gentleman who, I believe, lives in London. He had made a comment in a thread that he would gladly purchase on behalf. I paid shipping and razor only even though I offered some beer money. Again, great guy. So I got my hands on the London edition. After the first shave, I knew I wanted the Berlin edition and immediately set out to get one. It took a long time, but yesterday another DFS'r seems to have arranged to make that happen. Ima lucky boy.

The Ti model R41 cuts every bit as close as the 2011 I remember. Blade feel is muted. The teeth are pretty danged sharp side-to-side but they feel great on the face in use. It is not mindless, but not the seat of the pants feel the 2011 monster. The Ti handle is perfect in hand, for me. 14mm x 98mm approximately. Weighing in at 67g it is very well balanced. Not as smooth as a WR2 but it's a very nice ride. I love it.

If you can get one....do it. I can post photos if that would help.
