This talk about titanium again, this time more serious.

If you guys are inclined, my suggestion is to work up a tally, send that data over to Murat, let him know there is a healthy market available, and even play around with the idea of a presales/preorder.

If we are going with titanium, I'd personally want the '20 full-size version, with a similar dial like the '21.

Just got word from Murat.

Looks like he will be producing a full sized one about 2 years from now. Gives us time to save Wink

He also just told me that he is going to start with a mixed metal version of the Sailor so that should be interesting.

I don't care how long Ti takes, as long as I get the 1st prototype. Smile

It seems like there will be some sort of a hybrid model first, and the full Ti model will
only come later.

In light of this, it would be cool if the MC razor could be stripped down, so one could later
just buy a Ti part (eg the base plate section) to mix and match.

Make sense? Or am I just rambling?

What makes you think there will be a hybrid? I can't see him making titanium parts to swap out on original models. Heck, he doesn't want them disassembled as it stands. I'm looking for a full titanium model but not even sure how that one would be. I am getting to the point to where I prefer SS to Ti in 3 piece razors. Weird.

He has stated in my messages back and forth with him that he will be doing some parts in titanium on the first iteration with titanium. No idea what that means with Murat but we shall see. I highly doubt that he will EVER make a razor that allows you to have interchangeable parts. I was told a couple months ago by him that his first titanium razor would be in the Elite series. Who knows?

He said the handle will be titanium on the next ones. We shall see. He said it is planned for the exact same model as the 2020 handle.
