We won’t know til we know. I don’t care to waste the time thinking about hypotheticals.
All I know is if the 2021 comes out in Ti (with a longer handle), the price won’t matter.

I truly believe price won’t matter. People paying for a sailor are likely the same small market that would shell out for a premium product like a Ti sailor.

I think that, apart from a handful, these things do matter... to many.
I'm a huge Ti guy so I'll be rooting for him to keep the price at $690

I think that those in the market for a Sailor will probably pay whatever is charged for one, the regular Sailor is already an enthusiast level, ultra premium razor and a titanium version would be about as deluxe a razor as money can buy.

Until the next new thing.    I can remember, before this forum was established, if someone said $250 for a DE razor, it would be 'Wait, WHAT!!"  Couple that with inflation, and $1,000 razors (excluding one-of, historical, or artistically embellished) are on the nearer-than-we-think horizon.

All valid points here, gentlemen. From what I understand, titanium isn't necessarily more expensive from raw bulk purchases of machining blocks, but rather it is very hard on the tooling. At which point, there needs to be necessary changes to set perimeters and on going work flow with titanium.
Being such is the nature, if larger production numbers need to be met then replacement of tooling is in order.

Reading around different forums, I don't think it is Murat's intention to release the same numbers (100 and over) for the titanium, but rather a small limited amount, perhaps around a dozen.

Having visited Turkey many times, especially Istanbul, and done some business there I can confirm.  "Saving face" may not be exactly the term, but politeness and reciprocation are expected, in speech and action.  You can make a friend for life with just simple courtesy, and the reverse if you are abrupt or demanding, including rushing a deal or appearing to be impatient.  Very proud of their history and their country, and insulting either can actually land you in jail.  You might wonder why the massive jewels in Topkapi Palace don't appear to be heavily guarded.  They don't need to.  And very social - having a chai and a chat on the sidewalk with a vendor is common, whether you buy anything or not.

"Saving Face" to me has many interpretations....it varies a little between cultures such as Japanese, Thai and so on.
One manifestation is of saving face is that they won't say no to you...but they won't say yes either. I love how complex
these things are under the surface.

Somebody correct me if this never happened but I seem to remember Murat saying that the titanium version would cost the same as the stainless version. This was back when he first said he’s making a titanium version but it would be over a year out.
