I decided to go 5-4-3 on my 3 passes. Rewarded with a silky smooth BBS shave. Extremely efficient on setting 5 yet maintains smoothness, somehow.  I’m convinced that the weight of the razor is contributing to its impressive efficiency. Extremely impressed yet again. Only the Wr2 1.45 left me with this type of BBS, yet the RS 21 is smoother and more comfortable. What can’t the Rocnel Sailor do?!?

I know the feeling, it should be illegal to produce a razor like the Sailor 2020 and 2021  Sleepy

Changed out the Feather for a Lab and the shave was hugely better this morning. Used setting 4 for both passes, very smooth and very efficient. A fairly easy shave, just a nice BBS without a lot of work. To me it does feel a lot like a WR2 in some ways, but less blade feel. I'm not sure if it's going to be my #1, but it's definitely up there, one of the better razors I've ever used.

Yup. I keep a small collection and unless there’s something unique, out it goes.

This Sailor fella covers a lot of ground. After 6 shaves, it’s easily one of the best I’ve used.

Welcome aboard mate. I have put off selling stuff for too long. Been meaning to do it. I've almost talked myself into buying a production 2021, while I can.

I hear ya!

I've been selling off the den for this very purpose and now have enough funds to cover the 2021 sailor from a awesome DFS member.

[Image: DggiUcD.jpg]First outing with the RS21 today.  As a relative coward that tends to enjoy mild razors like the Henson Ti22 Medium (my current daily driver), I am starting at a setting of 1 and am going up a half turn per shave.  So far, so good.  The weight of the razor, while probably twice as heavy as the Henson proved no problem, nor did the relatively large head.  I did a three pass shave, WTG, ATG and XTG.  The overall shave was quite smooth with just a hair more blade feel than the Henson, even on setting 1 and no irritation or cuts.  I look forward to future shaves as I go up the aggressiveness scale, but I could use it and be very happy with the results even now.
