I'm sorry for the immature question, but give feedback, please:
Which one razor would you keep for yourself: Sailor 2020 or 2021?

My Sailor showed up a couple days early actually. Looks beautiful, but I pulled the sticker off and left a bunch of gunk unfortunately. I'll have to decide if I want to use it tomorrow or wait for Thursday and get one more day of growth.

Congrats! My favorite razor. Can’t go wrong there’s a setting for every growth.

Also for the residue. A little wd40 and a soft cloth will take it right off. Dish soap may work too but not as easy. Nothing abrasive.

Another who couldn’t stop myself from hitting the buy button when the 2021 Sailors again became briefly available.  I hope to give the razor its first outing over the weekend. 

I just finished a wonderful shave.  The razor is incredible.

First impressions, I love the flared adjustment knob, it really gives a good positive feel and ease.

The lessened weight also made switching edges a lot easier and the  strokes are effortless.  The smaller form factor is a plus.

Although I can't really tell visually, the knurling does feel more grippy.

Onto the actual shave, this is where it was a little eye opening.  I could shave 1 or 2 notches higher than usual, it is smoother and milder.
Again, visually trying to determine a change to the shaving angle etc. I could not tell with my naked eye.
From a performance standpoint, my 2021 outperforms the 2020.  Just outstanding.

I started with a head shave first.  Loaded up a fresh Astra SP.  Took my time with the lather and went to work.  Wiped out 4 days of growth clean.  The efficiency I would peg the same, but the smoothness is improved.  Usual 3 passes, WTG, XTG, ATG. I used settings 3,2,1 respectively. Once done, I looked and felt like Mr.Clean lol.

Onto the face.  Had just over a weeks worth of growth.  Dailed it up to to 6, then 3, then finished with 1.
Again same 3 passes.  Left a tiny bit of goatee.  Both head and face is left with BBS.  Tiniest irritation on the top of my head when I went in a little hot, but rinsing with cold water it went away.  Zero irritation elsewhere.  I don't feel like using my other razors anymore.  I couldn't be any happier.

Not immature at all, friend. Totally legitimate. Today, the 2021 is my preferred model. I have not used the 2020 in some time.

With that said, like Andrew, I kept them both. I could make a strong argument for either razor as best.

Goo Gone took it right off. Yeah, there's no way I can wait until Thursday, tomorrow will be two days growth. I think I'll start on setting 4 and go from there.

So, this thread (and others) makes me want to try the 2021. The 2020 has always seemed too heavy for my comfort zone. But the 2021.....here's what I might have missed: how does one get one?  When and where does availability appear?  Much appreciated for any help as to that!

Valid question. I handed my 20 to my old man and kept the 21 for myself. 20 is a little smoother but the weight trade off is not worth it for me as I like to use mine often. Sex appeal and uniqueness of the 20 should be considered as well
