I'm leaning towards After the Rain ... does the scent resemble B&M First Snow or Stirling Ozark Mountain?  Which, IMO, are both fantastic!

More like petrichor or summer storm. Trismegistus is modeled after the same scent as stirling arkadia and fine l'orange noir if you've tried those. Cuir et epices has more leather like first snow but also has tobacco and spice. Those are the two options I'm mullling over to hit the $50 mark.

Or Yall could just order 2 soaps and splashes so you have backups! Smile

Ordered my set last night! Talking with Scott at the Maggard meet up about it pushed me over the fence.

Did Scott bring a sample for people to sniff?

No he didn't. That was the first question I asked him though, lol! All he had were soap and splash samples of his most recent release, Mayflower, which smells pretty damn good, BTW. Scott said the DFS scent was the best scent he's done to this point, in his opinion.

Just a quick update for everyone, I've ordered the labels and fragrance components. So far so good Smile

Should there be even a hint of a potential delay I'll let everyone know ASAP but - as of right now - everything is on track.

Also, THANK YOU to everyone that ordered - again, I am honored to have been asked to make this soap for y'all this year and hope you all love it!

Thanks Scott, I can't wait to try It! At this point I honestly couldn't care less about what it smells like. After using the sample of Mayflower the last few days, the performance of your soap is nothing short of amazing. A good scent will just be a bonus in my book!

I'm with Jeff. I've heard rumors that the DFS scent is wonderful, but with the performance of the L&L soaps, that's just a bonus.

Thanks for the update, Scott!
