After a year of wet-shaving with soap and brush I finally purchased my first RazoRock shaving soap, the XXX tallow soft soap formula. The scent on this soap is amazing and it smells even better and stronger on the face. I loaded my Thater 4125/2 for about 30 or 40 seconds and then face lathered. I didn't do a test lather so this was my first attempt and it tuned out perfect. It's one of the easiest tallow soaps I've lathered and the quality of the lather is up there with the best. It has it is all, slickness, cushion, conditioning, and stability. This is one of the slickest soaps I've used for sure and the conditioning was so good I was able to go back over a few spots after rinsing the lather off and it was as if I still had lather on. I always like to test that with new soaps and this soap was as good as any in that regard. In summary, the XXX soap by RazoRock is a winner for me and has earned a spot in my regular rotation.

If anyone has not tried RazoRock and is considering it just do yourself a favor and buy one. This is an excellent soap at an excellent price. Now I have to decide on the next scent to try!

I used to be a big fan, but something started to put me off. I do not think that the performance is up there with other artisans although it's certainly not bad. RazoRocks strong point it their scents are great, XXX, Don Marco and Son of Zeus are all great.

Sure you can throw stones at RR's performance vs. other artisans (I personally cannot) but last I checked those artisans price points are no where near RR's. Great stuff, every den should have a couple tubs.

I am guessing I have 8 or 9 RR/IB soaps and another 5-6 TFS soaps. They all offer solid performance, great scents and the prices are unbeatable. Great value associated.

I appreciate what Joe does for the shaving community, bringing solid products at ultra competitive pricing and always developing/curating cool stuff for his product line.

I agree with all the points made above. I have a few RR soaps and enjoy them all and will continue to get more in the future. You can't beat the value that RazoRock/Italian Barber brings to the community and with so many great scents, it's a no-brainer for me.

Performance has always been great, but the scents have been hit or miss for me.

Only kept mudder focker and has passed along the rest.

Have you tried Santa Maria del Fiore Spencer? If you like tobacco scented soaps it is a keeper IMHO and one of their best.

Have you tried their tallow formula? That's the one I used and it hit every mark. I was quite impressed and I'm not exaggerating either. It is one of the slickest soaps I've used and my shave was perfect, which is impressive to me because I have very sensitive skin. I can't speak for the non tallow version but this one is great.

I have tried the tallow, in fact my dad has a tub of XXX tallow and all this talk might mean I try it tonight.
