General thoughts
Since I discovered Cremo last year, I have been neglecting my soaps and brushes,
but the difference in comfort has been quite profound. A tube lasts a long time,
as only a dab is required. Not only the best latherless and brushless shaving cream
(both better and cheaper than Kiehl's), but probably the best shaving cream I've ever used. Period.

Lather
Latherless & Brushless. So low marks on the lather. Probably not for straight razor shaving.
I've never used a straight razor, so I really don't know, but I want to err on the side of caution.

Skin Feel
Soft and smooth. Lubricating without being the least bit greasy.

Slickness
Incredibly slick. In the words on the tube: "Impossibly slick". I'd pretty much have to agree.

Scent
Comes in Original (scentless), Cooling (mentholated), & Sandalwood for men;
Lavender and Coconut-Mango for women. I have the Sandalwood,
which has a mild and pleasant aroma. Quite agreeable.

Skin Care
Kind to the skin. All natural ingredients, no toxic chemicals, and no parabens.
Highly concentrated, and water activated. Residual can be rubbed into the skin for moisturizing.

Value
Very good value. 6 oz. tube lasts 90 days.

Quality
Very good. Consistent texture, quality natural ingredients.
No toxic chemicals, no petroleum byproducts, and no parabens.

Packaging
Sturdy yet flexible plastic tube. Sits top down, for ready waste free dispensing.

cremo was my first introduction to something other than edge or foamy. taylor sandlewood shaving creme is my current fave.

I picked up a tube of Cremo bourbon a while back but I'm guessing I use too much product as it tends to clog my razors. Hey, maybe I'll spend the time to figure it out but I like the brush and lather routine so perhaps not. Headed on a trip for a week. Perhaps this'll be a good chance to go minimalist with a Trac II and Cremo.

While I enjoy whipping up a good, creamy lather as well as the next guy, I picked up a tube of Cremo just to try it and was blown away after the first use. Frankly, it probably gives me the best shaves of any soaps I have, it's great on my skin, very slick and extremely economical. I use it at least twice a week and have added some Bourbon Vanilla scent to the Original. Great stuff!
