General thoughts
Labelle has done a very nice job with this soap. A nice fresh clean scented soap with great post shave and skin care qualities. The only areas I found it lacking were in slickness(this was minor) and in the quality of the tub which also could be considered a personal preference. At $15.99 for a 4 oz tub it's an easy soap to recommend!

Lather
Great lather from this offering from Labelle. I loaded for about 30 seconds with my Black Wolf synthetic brush and had a nice amount of rich creamy lather. enough for 4 passes easily.

Skin Feel
Great skin feel with this soap during the shave. I have tried some very popular soaps that tend to leave my skin feeling dry but this wasn't one of them.

Slickness
This was one of the only areas where I felt the soap was lacking but honestly not by much. I was using a Gillette 7'Oclock Black blade and to be honest the shave felt just a slight bit rough but then again it could have been the blade itself. I do know however that the soap was not as slick as some of the other soaps I have.

Scent
Amazing!!! I absolutely love the scent of this soap. I am honestly not a huge fan of fruit based scents especially if they are sweet scented. This soap is not sweet or tartly scented, just a very nice fresh, clean scented soap. Labelle describes it as a "relaxing sun-kissed Mediterranean shaving soap." I agree, it's really a great scent and one that is a bit different than most I have tried.

Skin Care
I would give the post shave 5 stars. Despite the roughness mentioned earlier I got a very nice, close shave with no irritation . My skin felt nice and hydrated after the shave and still does some 8 hours later

Value
Soap is $15.99 for 4 oz of soap which in today's market I would say is pretty fair. It is a softer soap however so you may not get quite the mileage from a tub of the Labelle soap as you would from one that is a little on the harder side.

Quality
I would rate the overall the quality of the soap as very good.

Packaging
Labelle Soaps come packaged in a plastic container which is similar if not the same as some other artisans such as L&L, and First Canadian Shaving Soaps. It's an adequate container but honestly one of my least favorites. although there is plenty of room for loading your brush the container is very thin, especially where the threads on the cap are. So much so that I find myself worrying that if I over tighten even the slightest bit that the threads could crack.
