General thoughts
If you are looking for an every day razor , elegant and stylish like an old Gillette Aristocrat , and you have a medium beard , this razor would satisfied you in every single aspect.
One again , I find it to be the most beautiful one of all the current razors currently made. And that says a lot.

Very pleased with this razor and I would totally recommend it.

User Friendliness
This is a perfect razor to all who has a medium beard.Feels is going to be mild , but far away from the reality. Is smooth but extremely efficient

Grip
Excellent. The barberople knurling makes this razor stunning but also allows to have a great grip.If you have big hands , maybe you should think on a longer handle. This is a 80 mm one.

Blade Replacement
Very easy. Its a closed comb two piece razor and blades are always well aligned.

Balance
Brilliant. For me is all that I want on a safety razor.

Value
Very good.Is 185 dollars but you're buying a stainless steel razor which is going to last you forever if you take good care of it.Yes , is an investment which will provide you years of great shaves.

Quality
Superb. The finished are perfect , the barberpole knurling makes this razor stunning. Its a sturdy razor , which 92 grams of weight. For me , is the most beautiful razor made these days.

Packaging
Another great thing about this razor.Comes in a very elegant box , protected by foam and with a package of 5 Astra Green Blades.

Actually, the Atlas handle is 76 mm (or 3") not 80 mm. I have the R-1, and it's one of my two favorite razors.
The other is the Blackbird. They both have a .58 mm blade gap, and they are both superb shavers.
