General thoughts
To me, this is a favorite aftershave splash purely because of its scent. I can condition my skin with other products. (For instance, I can mix some of this splash in with an unscented balm or some vegetable glycerine.) But no other aftershave splash will give me such a strong and long-lasting scent that I truly enjoy. The longevity of the Tuscan Oud splash is phenomenal. In the case of most splashes I have, using the same amount of product will yield a scent that lasts no more than 30–120 minutes. In some cases, that might of course be preferable. But I enjoy the fact that I can still smell Tuscan Oud a full 12 hours after application. Sometimes even past that point. I appreciate this product immensely. The stars in the rating are honest, but do not quite reflect how I feel about the splash as a whole. To me, this is a five-star splash all the way.
Skin Feel
As a “straight-up” aftershave splash that does not contain some of the additional skin-conditioning ingredients many other modern splashes do, the skin feel of Tuscan Oud could be described as refreshing, but not necessarily nourishing.
Scent
This is where Tuscan Oud’s strength lies — subjectively, of course. The fragrance is described in these words: “A warm and slightly sweeter more perfumed Oud scent. Inspired by Tom Ford Tobacco Oud but more tobacco flower rather than pipe tobacco.” To me, it is simply a wonderful, classy scent suited for the modern man. Perhaps more of a special occasion than an everyday scent.

Value
At $12 for a 100 ml (3.4 oz.) bottle, Tuscan Oud represents great value, especially if you are able to get it with free shipping. (Purchasing a single bottle alone would cost about $19 with shipping in the U.S., which is quite a common price point for such products. If you are able to combine it with a purchase of other products for free shipping, you are getting a real deal, at least when it comes to this splash.)
Quality
Especially for the price, the quality is there for this basic splash. Of course, the scent is a major deciding factor, which undoubtedly affects my rating here.
Packaging
The bottle will most likely arrive bubble-wrapped, not in an individual product box. The label is more “fun” than “classy”. This is a feature that perhaps could be improved upon. (But for many, a box may not seem necessary. And when it comes to the label on the bottle itself, that is obviously another matter of taste and design goals.)
