I was extremely impressed with the soap from the get go. I used it for 5 straight days with 5 different straight razors. The soaps performance was consistent everyday. The is fantastic and I found the more I became accustomed to the soap,the better the shaves were. This soap can run with the best and I feel this is an artisan that should have a spot in everyone's den- they surely have in mine.

The artisan also makes stunning shave brushes and razor stands. They are very friendly and great to work with. Highly recommended.

The lather was very impressive. A thick a creamy lather is easily created. I found the soap likes water and you will benefit by taking a little extra time dialing it in.

The soap has a very silky feel when applied to the face and provides excellent cushion.

Slickness was excellent. The blade easily glided across my face. Residual slickness was equally impressive I was able to go over spots multiple times without any issue.

The scents are very well thought out in my opinion. While they may seem simple from their names, the personality of each certainly separates themselves from others. All the scents were very natural. I would say they were mid to mid-strong in strength.

The post shave is among the best. The soap left my skin feeling hydrated and supple. While I enjoy using a post product I found the soap performed well enough that one wasn't necessary.

The samples are .5 oz for $3.00 and the 4oz tub is $16.00. I find this to be inline with the market and a great deal for the performance you're getting

I find this to be an all around high quality product. The ingredients are great and the performance is among the best.

The samples come in a very nice screw top tin. I received the samples wrapped in a nice cloth bag with the Turtleship Shave Co logo I each side. The tins had the same logo with the scent identified on each. The full size tubs have beautiful art work on them.
