General thoughts
I really like this razor, so much so that I traded my previous single edge head razor. I must have 15 shaves or so on the same blade and it's still smooth and a joy to use. It's inexpensive and quite a smooth and efficient razor.

User Friendliness
I bought the head only since I had a few handles on hand. I think this razor is easy to get used to. It's smooth and forgiving yet efficient. I recommend for new users and veterans alike.

Grip
N/A since I bought the head only, however 5 stars because I like the feel.

Blade Replacement
It's on the mild side so you get a comfy shave, but aggressive enough to be efficient.

Balance
N/A since I bought the head only, however 5 stars because it balances well with the maggard mr5 handle.

Value
For $30 it's a wonderful value.

Quality
You have to consider price vs. quality. For $30 i'm not expecting a NASA grade built razor. That said, this razor has excellent quality. I've had it for a month or two now, time will tell if there are issues.

Packaging
I bought the head only. Packing was not as nice as say ATT, but this was not an issue.

Big fan of the general myself. I also agree that it's quite mild. If someone wants to step up the aggression level, they can try using a feather professional super blade.

I also like The General. In fact I liked it so well that I sold my Above The Tie SE-1. It's lighter, more maneuverable, and gives me a better shave. I also use Feather AC Pro Super blades, and my own custom 70 mm SS handle. Damn fine razor!
