At first didn't like it. It wasn't what I expected (no detectable vanilla) and it smelled "weedy" i.e. cannabis. I stuck with it because it was a light fragrance, suitable for use around people who might be fragrance sensitive. Decanting into glass changed everything. Weed scent dissipated and light vanilla appears in the dry down. Now it is one of my favorites.

Like most Clubman products, skin feel is excellent, never greasy. Absorbs and dries quickly. It is alcohol based but if your technique is good it does not sting or burn.

Top notes are mild citrus and jasmine, followed by sage, powder and lavender. It is almost a modern scent. Not much like the Victorian regular Clubman. There is a spiciness to it but I can't identify the spice. More floral than citrus with a light sweetness to it. Would work as an evening fragrance and good for summer. Somewhat sophisticated compared to other Clubman products.

Post shave feel is excellent. Very soothing after a shave. Not an experience like VIBR. If you have normal to oily skin this is perfect. Your face really will feel better after you use it.
