General thoughts
Saponificio Varesino has had some really good soaps. I own the Felce Aromatica 4.0 and the soap base is, imo, far better than this latest iteration. I was really hoping for an AdP clone, but was very disappointed. In fact, one would do better purchasing RazoRock XXX, which is, again imo, a far better value at only $2.00/ounce AND has a much closer scent to AdP. These days, with so many quality artisan soaps available, there is no excuse to offer a sub-standard product at an inflated price. Not recommended.

Lather is easy to build. It takes a good deal of water. Slightly airy, more like foam, rather than yogurt.

Skin Feel
Drying. Post-shave, skin had a very taut feeling.

Disappointingly un-slick.

I preferred the 4.0 Colonia scent. This scent reminds me of a hotel soap.

Skin Care
Again, drying and unpleasant post-shave feel.

At $7.00/ounce, I expect a magnificent product. This product is way over-priced.

Mediocre at best.

Nice metal tin, but the puck doesn't fit. It flops around, allowing water to sit underneath, which can cause mold, if the soap is part of a large rotation. I grated the puck and pressed it back into the tin.
