General thoughts
I've been wanting to try this razor since I purchased a Razorock Mamba about a year ago. I like razors leaning to mild mostly but do love my Gem micromatic too which is a known biter. I guess what I really appreciate in a razor is a great shaver that is easy to drive but also capable of closeness if one pays very close attention to details. This one delivers. I find it very similar in feel to the ubiquitous EJ DE89 which I like very much. This razor is unbelievable especially given its price tag for a machined stainless razor. Truly is a game changer. Fit and finish are near flawless. I chose the .68 gap in barber pole handle and find it gorgeous.
User Friendliness
Hits on all points. Great daily shaver that allows for gaps in technique for the beginner but also provides very close shaves for gents that have their game down.
Grip
Knurled grip is perhaps a tad sharp but it's clean and I like it.
Blade Replacement
As easy as any three piece razor to accomplish but the alignment is impossible to not get perfect. Blade tabs are covered.
Balance
Slightly head heavy just as I like.
Value
Under 60 bucks for machined stainless? Wham!
Quality
Excellent. They claim it's not mirror finish but mine is close.
Packaging
Mine arrived in a leather Razorock travel bag.
