General thoughts
The Gillette Rubie comes from Russia and is similar in all ways to the Nacet with the exception of Nacet offering 4 shaves and Rubie only two. Sharpness is right up there with the best. Smooth like Permasharp for me. But for whatever reason, longevity is not there for me. I use it as my travel blade as I don't mind chucking a blade after a shave or two. This one is tougher to find than most.
Sharpness
I find it to be one of the sharper blades available. Similar to Nacet or Silver Blues
Longevity
Interestingly short lived for me. Two shaves and it's done.
Shaving Smoothness
Very smooth
Value
At $20 per 100 and a life span of two shaves it falls flat
Quality
The grind seems perfect. Printing is great. Blade to blade consistency has been on point.

Two? Something is not right. The blade has stellar reviews by countless shavers who rate it as the best there is. I get an easy seven shaves before I even begin to see a hint of degradation. I have never seen one shaver toss it at two before. Ever.

I like Rubies an excellent and consistent blades for me very similar to Nacets. I can achieve 6-7 comfortable shaves , but that is subjective.
