General thoughts
An aftershave splash without the burn, Barrister's Reserve is one class act.

Skin Feel
This goes on easily, smoothly, and soothingly. A little goes a long way so there is no tacky or heavy feeling.

Scent
This is my kind of scent and it is, indeed, classic. It is one of those scents that, at least for me, will never go out of style. That being said, the scent is not in the least long lived. That's fine if followed up with a cologne or eau de toilette. However, if you finish your shave with the Barrister's Reserve Classic and want the scent to linger then I believe you will be disappointed. Honestly, I wish there was a matching eau de toilette by Barrister & Mann.

Skin Care
Excellent. This aftershave is not in the least bit drying but is not heavy like a balm. It soothes the skin without any burn.

Value
I gave the value five stars because at $24.99, while not the least expensive, the quality of the product matches its price. In that sense it is definitely value for money.

Quality
The quality is second to none and, obviously, a lot of effort went into making this product, from skin care to face feel to scent.

Packaging
The packaging is unique and very stylish. This is the type of bottle that can be left out on display.

General thoughts
This aftershave should be a good perform for the wide gamut of skin types. My skin can be a bit sensitive and therefore picky with what I can & cannot use. I'm thrilled to be able to have such a great product to use after every shave. With 3 great scents to choose from I rarely finish a shave with anything else.

Skin Feel
Light & soothing. Minimal alcohol burn and zero tackiness.

Scent
This scent makes me immediately think of a barbershop from the '60s & '70s. Best I can surmise is that it is a powdery, musky, fougere which is light. It won't stick around long so your fragrance of the day need not pair.

Skin Care
My skin absolutely loves this stuff. I have oily skin which doesn't take well to most highly moisturizing aftershaves. However, some alcohol based splashes leave me dry & tight. Barrister's Reserve leave my skin feeling toned and supple at the same time. Simply amazing!

Value
This line of aftershaves have quickly become my go-to juice. Whenever I use anything else I usually find myself wishing I had use a Reserve splash.

Quality
I've used nothing better than this combination of ingredients to both cleanse and revitalize my skin after a shave.

Packaging
The bottles are very sturdy with nice graphics on the label.

Nice review! I agree on the performance, but I like the menthol of the Cool version quite a bit.

The Classic is great. Very soothing and I like that the scent does not last a long time. I'm not into aftershave scents that linger. If you want a B&M Reserve scent that lasts a while, try the Spice. It's B&M's strongest scent and lasts for hours which is why I sent it back and got the Classic.

I have spice & cool..I love them both. for me, the scents last a good 12-24 hours and my face feels soft and supple all day long!
