I really enjoy No.1, The Traditionalist, Bon Monsieur, and The Watchman from Zingari Man. All very different from each other and all amazing, captivating scents.

Gave Mousse Illuminee a whirl today.
Notes of artemisia, cypress, tree moss....very clean, fresh, musky and soapy...sweet smelling.
Don't mind this as a shave soap but a bit cloying as a fragrance.

I just wore the frag yesterday when I used my MI soap and Aftershave. I kept getting whiffs of it the entire day. To my nose it's not too dense a frag and thoroughly enjoy it here even in summers. I guess it's fall and winters where this will really shine for you if you find it cloying.

Infact i was thinking of writing to Heather if she any plans of launching a balm in the same scent as it would be ideal for winters.

My favorites
- The Wanderer is a fantastic classic Barbershop scent.
- The Socialite is a nice mild Gin / Tonic type scent with a nice artificial menthol kick
- The Navigator is a fantastic aquatic
- I know you said you don't get along with Bay Rums. I don't enjoy the scent of most Bay Rums, but I actually really like Nomad. It's sweeter and less spicy.

I have a number of Zignari Man soaps in my collection. I rate the performance as super elite. The last two scent added were the Rogue scents Mousse Illumine and Bon Monsieur. I like like Mousse Illumine, but Bon Monsieur is becoming one of my favorites. It is variation on a aromatic Fougere with notes of Lavender, Bergamot, Fir Balsam, Geranium, Oakmoss, Carnation, Lily of the Valley, Cedar, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Musk. This is quite similar to the scent notes of Houbigant Fougere Royale, the originator of the Fougere branch of perfumery. I find that this fragrance is somewhat Lavender forward, so it is not quite as well-blended as I would prefer. Nonetheless, it is a wonderful fragrance. I recommend it highly.
