I beg to differ. Even if CF is the best soap known to man, just because they give you that for free does not make the razor on sale. That doesn't make any sense. What if you only want the razor? Guess what, it's not on sale, but we'll throw in some free soap that you don't want.

These are my thoughts also. I forget that somebody in this thread acts as if they own stock in the company. Next time I'll spell it out - slowly.

Granted, If you have no interest in the products they add on, then they are not of use to you. No argument there. But if they are, then they are on sale.

CF Crap? Thats actually funny.

If were to sell all of the salt in this thread, I could afford to buy a OneBlade.

My thoughts are there is no way I would spend that much for that razor! Maybe a little over half that price, but even then it worries me that there is only one blade available and no chance of getting anything different.

If I were to sold lube to all the fanboys that ride for OneBlade I would retire by now and travel the world with the spare moneys and honeys....

I think the OneBlade is expensive and ugly. Maybe it provides great shaves, but even if it does, it does so while defeating my purpose of traditional wet shaving.

1. - I wanted to master the technique of shaving.

They claimed to have engineered all of that in.

2. - I think DE and some SE razors look really neat. I think brushes look neat. I like the aesthetics of traditional wet shaving.

I know this is subjective, but that razor is ugly enough I almost swore while typing this. Seriously, I typed curse words, then replaced them.

3. - Freedom from the tyranny of proprietary blade markets.

Proprietary blades.

So, really, I think it's a hard pass from me.

I have tried two of them and you aren't missing much, really, especially, for the price they are commanding, at the moment.

Keep your eyes on the B/S/T. They will show up sooner or later; there are good folks in the shaving community who will want to move on to something else and will not gouge you. That's how I got mine. I hope you get the opportunity to own one because the OneBlade is excellent. Cost of blades is not an issue: 200 GEM blades go for $35. I can't blame anyone for objecting to the current price (or the current price minus $100). I wouldn't pay that either.
