It's nice to see other new OneBlade owners having the same positive experience I've had so far. My good friend and fellow wet shaving enthusiast got his OneBlade yesterday, and after his first shave he messaged me to say "Well, that was easily the best shave I've ever had." For him, comfort and non-irritation are paramount. He's loving it.

After I get more time in with the Feathers (I want to feel like I'm really familiar with their shaves), I'll try the de-spined GEM. Should be interesting.

By the way, did you guys see that OneBlade is running a new sort of "risk-free trial" promotion where you buy their cream/brush/holster shaving kit for $99, get the razor with it right away, and if you don't return the razor for free within 30 days, they charge an additional $200 for the razor? Interesting:

I'm bringing that up as a point of discussion, not because I'm trying to shill! Given the trial period they already have, this is a razor folks should audition for themselves if they're curious.

I only use the Feathers with this razor. If I want to use GEM's I have a beautiful Micromatic that is perfect for them.

I agree the OCMM will be used with the gems and the feathers with the oneblade

Speaking of, gentlemen, I think it's time to finally try that GEM 1912 I picked up the other week, which will be my first time with a GEM-style SE (as opposed to an injector or the OneBlade). Should be fun!

IMO, one of the easiest and smoothest razors. Should not disappoint you.

And apart from some trickiness under the nose, it really didn't! Seems like a great razor. I'm looking forward to getting to know it better.

A problem area even for my stable of DE razors. The only ones that can reach that first row of stubble right under the nostrils with the WTG pass are the NEW SC and LC. But it seems that any razor, if the shaver is willing to make an ATG pass just on the upper lip, whether he's doing ATG anywhere else on his face or not, the blade will get right up there and mow down that pesky stubble forthwith!

Sharpologist has a video dealing with the under the nose issue. Once I watched that video never encounter the problem again.
