I haven't tried that many soaps but here are the 10 I find myself reaching for the most. I really like the scent and performance of each one of these.

Stirling Barbershop
PAA High Jump 47
Razorock Plague Doctor
PAA Sangre de Drago
Dr John's Flowers in the Dark
Reuzel Shave Cream
Arko Shave Stick (seriously, I love it!)
Fine American Blend
Stache Soap Works E Barber
Lather Bros. Calle Ocho
and in case Reuzel doesn't count because it's a cream
WSP Blackbeard

Here are my specific top 10 soaps at the moment, in alphabetical order:

Ballenclaugh Soaps Vanderpool  (alternative: Festive Parlor)
Barrister and Mann Beaudelaire  (alternative: 42)
Cold River Soap Works [Oliva] Summer Rose  (alternative: [Select] Puro Fresco)
Eufros Dama de Noche
L&L Grooming Cuir et Épices
Mike’s Natural Soaps Hungarian Lavender
PannaCrema Pure₂O DFS
Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Cavendish
WhollyKaw Dance of Agrumes (vegan)  (alternative: Jamestown Gentleman [donkey milk])
Wickham Soap Co. 1912 Le Bleu

They are all in there because they strike a great balance between performance and scent.

Based on performance alone, these are some tremendous soap bases, as well:
Grooming Dept, Soapy Bathman, Stirling Soap Company, Tallow + Steel.
I just haven’t yet come across a scent that would propel them to the top 10, although it’s been very close with all of them.

There is no way I could choose just 10 individual soaps/scents although I can choose ten soap brands/artisans, which isn't much of a problem.
If I were pressed to choose ten specific scents, then I might begin with these, but I know I would eventually change my mind. Smile
In no particular order:

Mystic Water Bay Rum
Mystic Water Vetiver/Oakmoss
Mystic Water Bergamot/Cedar/Juniper
Mystic Water Sandalwood Rose
Mystic Water Egyptian Dragon
Mystic Water Sardinian Honey
Jabonman/Eufros Tobacco
Jabonman/Eufros Sandolo
Jabonman/Eufros Fougere
Sapone Di Paolo Terroso

There are a lot of great soaps out there right now. And judging by your list, I should finally try Castle Forbes at some point. Smile

castle forbes is an amazing product. 200 grams and i only swirl a wet brush in the tub 7 times and get as thick of a lather as anything and a tub last well over 6 months everyday use. 3 scents lime, lavender, and cedar wood and sandalwood, all 3 are essential oils. amazon is the cheapest i found for $35. but check the ingredients and reviews its amazing ;p i have a little bias towards it cause im a good portion scottish ;p anyway i was thinking of trying pannacrema or whollykaw for my next 2 soaps. they look awesome
