Is Leviathan made in the Glissant base ?
Yes, Claus, the 2016 iteration, released in late September 2016, is in the glissant base. It's my favorite scent: Coffee, Sandalwood, Leather, great for winter. I used the heck out of it, as you can see...
All the best,

The revelation soaps for me in 2016 were:
1) Savon Des Volcans Menthe Stick
I read about this on Bullgoose's site and wanted to try a soap with donkey milk. I bought it used from another shaver with low expectations. But the performance was instantly and unmistakably top notch. A very nice natural scent if you like mint.
2) L&L Grooming
I didn't really want to try another US Artisan as I have been more than happy with B&M, Mike's, MW and Stirling. But I was intrigued by the Bison Tallow, botanicals, and the incredible shiny lather I saw in pics. I got a tub of Trismegistus and I was not disappointed. While I find the scent to be a bit strong and artificial, the quality of the soap base is undeniable. One of the best. I have a tub of the Chatillon Lux fougere on the way and hoping I will like it.
