I have a bottle of Krampert's Finest aftershave. If the scent of the soap is faithful (as I understand it is) then that would be a great choice, too.

it smells pretty close to me.

I haven't ever used a bay rum soap, but do own the krampert's finest AS...it's amazing stuff!

The aftershave of the gods! Smile If the soap smells the same, then it will be my next purchase.

It smelled pretty darn close to me. I gave all of the soaps a sniff when I got them in for our Movember donation drive.

The only 2 I own are RR for Captain's choice and B&M.

They are both equally good, I do want to try other ones because I love bay rum.

Krampert's! In fact, this thread has inspired me to break it out tomorrow morning.

The two I've liked the best are actually lesser known brands. Route 66 and Beer Soap Company. Both have a more Bay/Clove scent than the Stirling and Taconic versions I've tried. The latter two smelled too much like apple cider to me, which isn't one of my favorite scents.
