I cant imagine that to be the case, considering I cant find my own ass in the morning

Right now I am visiting a friend across the country so it's just been a Gillette Fusion and canned gel.  Am I getting an okay shave?  Well, yes.  However, all it is is an okay shave.  I miss the whole experience of DE/SE with a great blade, shaving soap/cream and brush.  I actually feel better and more cheerful after a proper wet shave.  I guess I'm weird that way.

I couldn't agree more. I could get a decent shave with a Fusion, but I would have a horrible experience.

The whole point is the experience in my opinion. If it weren't about creating the best possible experience for myself, then aftershave and soap scents would be moot, as would my "weapon of choice". Remove the experience and it's "just shaving"...
