Had a great shave with the Chinese sourced Yintal Bronze razor.   The listing says this is a brass razor, it weights 112 grams and has a good solid balance, great grip and is finished well enough (especially for $12).  It's actually quite handsome.

This is a smooth and efficient razor.  Very impressive first outing.   I've used the TTO version (which is supposedly copper and weighs less) and was equally impressed.

I have a found my next travel razor, but I will enjoy using it at home too.

Here are a few quick iPhone pics.

The head looks similar to the Maggard V3A.

Arrived overseas with two-plus days beard growth. Fired up the Yintal with a Polsilver, an Elite Manchurian and some 1912 Classic 24 lather- result: beautiful, easy BBS. If I lose it, or drop it or whatever... I'll just order another from virtually anywhere in the world.

One more quick thought to sing the praises of the Yintal. After two days growth I had an awesome two-pass-BBS shave this afternoon. After the first pass I was already DFS! Not sure if it's just the stars aligning or what, but the Yintal is as good as any DE I've tried.
Setup with a Voskhod blade, RazoRock Mudder Focker lather whipped up with a Pav/WSP 2- band. Finished with a sample of Country Club Sweet Water AS. Terrific shave!

Shaved with the TTO version today. It’s a little lighter but gave me a great two pass BBS shave. Another winner.
