After sitting with no update in NY for weeks my Yates razor that Alan polished arrived home today and I have a major problem...................this mirror finish shows every finger print when you touch it. Big Grin I'll live with this problem happily. Thanks for an AMAZING job Alan Happy2
2nd pic has a stone washed finish H Plate to show what all 3 pieces looked like went sent to him.

Nice work and transforms the razor aesthetically. Is there any notable difference in shaves?

Sorry as I just saw this. It does feel more aggressive to me but I think that is just perception and feel as being so smooth now it glides quicker/easier. Comparing weights on the scale there is no difference in weight so can only conclude it is just my perception rather than reality. I LOVE the look of it but prefer the FEEL of the stonewashed better and therefore reach for it more. I have posted it for sale in the BST now as I want to free up funds for other things and don't need 2. Gonna miss this one for sure........
